Question 2

Are Case IH replacement parts reliable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, provided a thorough inspection is done. At TMC Bejenne, every Case IH part from dismantling is cleaned, tested, and inspected by our specialized technicians before sale. Sensitive components like hydraulic pumps and gearboxes are workshop-verified. A checked used agricultural part remains an original manufacturer component, offered at 30 to 70% of the new part price.

Question 3

Can I still find parts for Case tractors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The IH and Case IH series from the 1970s to 1990s, like the 845 XL, 956 XL, or 1056 XL, remain covered thanks to dismantling of end-of-life machines. Check our ranges for rear axles and transmission, or call 05 86 24 00 26 for parts not listed online.

Question 4

What is the best Case IH tractor?

Accepted Answer

There is no single model; it depends on the use. Maxxum suits mixed farming and livestock, Puma fits farms seeking a versatile tractor with more power, Case IH MX Magnum and Magnum serve heavy traction tasks. Among older models, the XL series remains renowned for mechanical robustness. For comparison with New Holland, a sister brand within CNH group, check our dedicated parts as well.

Question 5

Where are Case IH tractors manufactured?

Accepted Answer

Case IH assembles its tractors at multiple sites. In Europe, the St. Valentin factory in Austria produces Maxxum and Case IH Puma models. In the US, Racine, Wisconsin manufactures the Magnum, and Grand Island, Nebraska produces Axial-Flow combines. For ordering a part, the original factory matters less than the machine’s series and serial number.

Question 6

What is the price of a Case IH tractor?

Accepted Answer

It varies greatly depending on the series, power, hours, and overall condition. TMC Bejenne sells used parts and does not publish tractor valuations on this page. To maintain a tractor you already own, a used Case IH part costs 30 to 70% less than new. Request a quote at 05 86 24 00 26.

Question 7

Who acquired Case IH?

Accepted Answer

The brand today belongs to CNH Industrial. In 1985, Tenneco, parent company of J.I. Case, acquired International Harvester’s agricultural division—thus Case IH was born. In 1999, Case merged with New Holland, then a Fiat subsidiary, forming CNH, which became CNH Industrial in 2013. Since then, both brands share some components.
