TMC Bejenne removes forestry cladding, also called protection, from tractors that are dismantled in Naintré. Each part is inspected in our workshop and sold at a reduced price. Forestry Cladding: Protecting the Tractor in the Forest
Forestry cladding, or forestry protection, is a set of thick metal plates attached beneath and around the tractor. It safeguards the engine casing, gearbox, front axle, tank, and hoses from stumps, stones, and branches. Additional protections often complement the set: grille guards, window and cab roof shields, rear PTO protection, and linkage guards. The weight of a full cladding is significant: it adds load to the front axle and must be considered in the tractor's maximum authorized weight.

Original Cladding or Adaptable Protection: Which to Choose?
Forestry cladding is specific to each tractor model: engine housing shape, bell housing clearance, front axle mounts, and tank location vary between series. A used cladding taken from the same model matches original mounting points and hardware directly. Adaptable protection fabricated by a metalworker often requires drilling and adjustments. Before ordering, check the thickness of the plates, absence of cracks at mounting tabs, and presence of screws and spacers.
