What is the function of a lift shaft?

• The lift shaft transmits the rotary motion from the hydraulic cylinder to the lower arms of the three-point hitch.
• Located transversely within the rear hydraulic block, it pivots under the oil pressure generated by the pump.
• Each rotation of the shaft causes the arms to tilt, raising or lowering the attached implement.
• The draft control shaft, a specific variant, detects traction stresses to automatically adjust working depth.
• For example, during plowing, it regulates the lowering of the plow according to soil resistance encountered.
