Used Control Screen

A black display during harvest means the entire machine monitoring vanishes. TMC Bejenne offers original manufacturer used control screens, removed from agricultural machinery, combines, and tractors, then checked in our workshop to assess their condition. They are part of our used electrical parts range.

What is the purpose of a control screen on agricultural machinery?

The control screen provides the operator with real-time feedback on the status of their machine. Connected to sensors and controllers, it displays the RPM, progress, transmission, harvesting settings, and alerts. On a combine harvester, it is the driver's main working tool; on a tractor, it complements the dashboard instrumentation. It differs from the dashboard, which houses gauges and indicator lights on the instrument panel: dashboard and screen are controlled separately. A used control screen should always be selected according to the machine's brand and model, as its connectors and software are unique to each series. A used control screen in good condition puts the machine back to work without the expense of a new display.

Terminal, GPS and autoguidance: what a used screen covers

Three categories of displays co-exist in the cab. The original control screen monitors the machine itself. The ISOBUS terminal controls an attached agricultural tool, like a sprayer or fertilizer spreader. The autoguidance console manages GPS, often with an RTK signal and correction subscription. On a GPS console, license and subscription depend on the signal provider, not the screen itself: verify their transfer before purchase. For autoguidance systems, also check antenna and receiver compatibility. TMC Bejenne offers original screens from dismantling, not subscriptions or guidance licenses.

Checking the condition of a used control screen

  • Display condition: full power on, no dead pixels or dark spots.
  • Backlight condition: even and clearly visible day and night.
  • Condition of buttons, knobs, and touch screen: each control must respond.
  • Housing condition: no cracks, impacts, or moisture traces behind the glass.
  • Connector condition: straight pins, clean and free from oxidation.
  • Before concluding a screen is defective, check the wiring harness and sensors: a missing value often comes from a sensor.

Finding the right reference: the TMC Bejenne method

Note the brand, model, and year of the machine, then the manufacturer’s reference on the back of the screen. Include the number of connectors and a few front and rear photos. Our specialized technicians compare these details with the stock screens and confirm compatibility before shipping, specifying the screen condition. The brand and model filters on this page help prepare your request. A specialist in used agricultural parts since 1945, TMC Bejenne dismantles all brands on its 11-hectare site in Naintré and relies on 25,000 references. For quotes and advice call 05 86 24 00 26.

From a specialist who dismantles machines personally and checks each screen’s condition before sale. TMC Bejenne offers original used control screens for John Deere, New Holland, Claas, or Case IH. Send your display’s reference number to 05 86 24 00 26: we check its availability in our electrical parts.

The price of a GPS subscription depends on the correction signal provider and the precision chosen, such as an RTK signal for autoguidance. Consult your dealer or provider. TMC Bejenne does not sell subscriptions: we provide original used control screens, with prices quoted on request at 05 86 24 00 26.

Rarely without verification. Connectors, electronics, and software vary between series, even among machines from Same, John Deere, New Holland, or Massey Ferguson of the same generation. A touchscreen cannot replace a button display nor can a dashboard screen substitute a GPS terminal. Provide the manufacturer’s reference and your machine’s model: our technicians confirm compatibility before any order.

Not always. On a New Holland combine or a Massey Ferguson tractor, first check power supply, fuses, grounds, and connectors. A display failure can also be caused by an electronic board or electronic box that no longer sends data. Diagnosing with error code reading prevents replacing a screen that is still good.
