The Renault range — from the Ares and Ceres series to Ergos and Atles — features cabins with very different designs depending on the generation. For Renault tractors from the late 1990s and 2000s (notably Ares 550, 620, 710), requests often concern cabin interior fittings: interior panels, dashboards, door trims, and post coverings. International Harvester (IH), Fiat, Deutz, Ford, and Same tractors represent a significant portion of the aging fleet still active on French farms. Their cabins — less documented than those of MF or Renault — are often hard to find new. Tractor Cabin Manufacturer: Used Buisard Cabins and Parts

Buisard is the leading French manufacturer of cabins for agricultural tractors. Since the 1960s, the company has produced replacement cabins — hard fiberglass cabins and steel frame canvas cabins — designed to fit tractors not originally equipped with factory cabins. Their cabins cover the main French market models: Massey Ferguson, Renault, Fiat, Ford, Deutz, IH, and others. TMC Bejenne offers used Buisard cabins and detached Buisard parts from dismantling.

• Used Hard Buisard Cabins: fiberglass or polyester cabins mounted on MF, Renault, Fiat, and Ford tractors, among others. Availability varies according to stock arrivals — contact us with the tractor model concerned.
• Buisard Cabin Parts: Buisard cabin windows (windshield, rear window, side windows), complete doors, hinges, handles and locks, window seals, trim panels. These parts are regularly available because Buisard equipped many tractors over several decades.

Driver protection does not always require a complete cabin. For many seasonal uses or older tractors without factory cabins, two intermediate options exist: the tractor canopy and the replacement cabin roof. TMC Bejenne offers these two used elements sourced from dismantling.

Tractor Canopy Roof: Sun and Rain Protection Without a Full Cabin

The tractor canopy roof is a partial protective structure — a simple roof mounted on posts above the driver, without doors or side windows. It provides protection from sun and light rain for outdoor work, while maintaining good visibility and airflow suited for summer tasks (haymaking, harvesting, mechanical grape picking). The canopy is especially popular on orchard or vineyard tractors, where a full cabin’s lateral bulk would be problematic. TMC occasionally has used canopy roofs for common models. Used Tractor Cabin Roof: Replacement and Parts

The tractor cabin roof is the upper part of the enclosed cabin — made of steel, fiberglass, or composite material depending on the model. It supports work lights, radio antenna, air conditioning, and speakers. Its deterioration is often due to corrosion (steel roofs) or branch impacts (fiberglass roofs). Replacing it identically requires a precise reference, as forms vary considerably by model and generation. TMC offers used cabin roofs with equipment as availability permits. Adaptable Tractor Cabins and Canvas Cabins

Not all agricultural tractors originally came with enclosed cabins. For models from the 1960s to 1980s, cabins were often optional or absent. Two solutions exist to retrofit such tractors.

• Adaptable Tractor Cabin: an adaptable cabin is designed specifically to be mounted on a tractor that was not originally equipped with a cabin. These cabins — mainly made by Buisard and some other specialized coachbuilders — are manufactured model by model, with dedicated supports and anchor points. An adaptable cabin is therefore not universal: it is sized and drilled for a specific tractor (MF 135, Renault Super 7, Fiat 640, etc.).
• Canvas Tractor Cabin: Buisard canvas cabins are a lighter, more economical alternative to adaptable cabins. They combine a tubular steel frame with reinforced canvas panels, offering weather protection with lower weight and cost than fiberglass cabins. They are particularly suited for low-power tractors used seasonally.

Small agricultural machines have their own specific cabin requirements. Micro tractors and combine harvesters use cabin designs very different from standard tractors.

Micro Tractor Cabin

Micro tractors — Kubota, Yanmar, Iseki, Mitsubishi, and others — feature compact cabins with specific designs. These cabins sometimes include air conditioning and heating but are sized for machines whose total weight rarely exceeds three tons. Demand for used micro tractor cabins remains modest but steady, especially for imported Japanese micro tractors. Finding cabins for these models often takes longer than for standard tractors — these machines are less common in French dismantling yards. TMC can initiate specific searches depending on models. Combine Harvester Cabin

The combine harvester cabin is a very different piece of equipment from a tractor cabin: it is positioned at height to maximize visibility over the cutting platform, integrates powerful air conditioning and specific air filtration (for grain and straw dust), and must withstand significant vibrations. The main brands — Claas, New Holland, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case IH — each have their own cabin design.
