Used Combine Harvester Complete Grinder
6 available products
A vibrating rotor, a warped casing, blades that no longer cut: when several parts of the grinder are worn out simultaneously, repairing them individually quickly becomes more expensive than replacing the entire unit. TMC Bejenne removes complete grinders from combine harvesters being dismantled in Naintré, inspects them in our workshop, and offers them at reduced prices, complementing our full range of combine harvester grinders.

How a combine harvester works: the role of the grinder
A combine harvester cuts the crop, threshes it, separates the grain on the sieves or rotor, then cleans it before sending it to the grain tank. On all modern combine harvesters, the grinder completes this process. The straw exiting at the rear falls into the grinder: a rotor equipped with knives or swinging hammers chops it against counter knives, then deflectors spread it evenly across the cutting width. A complete grinder assembly includes all these components mounted together, driven by a belt from the machine.
Complete grinder or single part: when to replace the whole unit?
- Only one damaged component: a grinder rotor, a grinder casing, or a grinder clutch is enough.
- Warped housing and an unbalanced rotor: replacing the complete grinder avoids readjusting each part individually.
- Worn bearings on both sides: replacing the whole unit often costs less than labor alone.
- Grinder torn off during an accident: only a complete assembly quickly gets the machine back in operation.
Combine harvester scrapyard: TMC Bejenne’s complete grinders
Our dismantling activity, what many call a combine harvester scrapyard, manages an area of 11 hectares. Each complete grinder is disassembled with its rotor, blades, bearings, and pulley, then matched to the original machine: brand, models, manufacturing year, and operating hours when known. Since 1945, TMC Bejenne has cataloged its parts among 25,000 references of used agricultural equipment, from tractors to combine harvesters.
Combine harvester brands: Claas, New Holland, John Deere, Case IH
- Claas Lexion: grinders for Lexion and older series.
- New Holland: grinders for TX, CX, and CR.
- John Deere: grinders for series with sieves and rotors.
- Case IH: grinders for Case Axial-Flow.
- Massey Ferguson, Laverda, Deutz-Fahr, and Fendt throughout dismantling operations.
Old, small, large, or corn combine harvester: choosing the right grinder
The grinder of a small four-sieve combine harvester neither matches the width nor the speed of a large rotor machine. For older combine harvesters, new grinders are often no longer manufactured: original used parts remain the only option. The crop type also matters, as well as the manufacturing year: for corn or sunflower combines, knives and counter knives wear faster, and the rotor must be in perfect condition. Provide us with the cutting width, manufacturing year, and harvested crop type; our specialized technicians will guide you to the suitable assembly.
Compatibility: manufacturer reference and installation
- Brand, models, and serial number of the relevant combine harvesters.
- Manufacturer’s reference found on the casing or rotor.
- Grinder version: standalone, with spreader, or with adjustable deflectors controlled from the cab.
- Pulley diameter, belt type, and rotor speed.
- Photos of your current grinder's mounting points.
Price of combine harvester and used complete grinder
We do not display prices for this family: the cost of a used complete grinder depends on the brand and models of the concerned combine harvesters, the condition of the rotor, blades, bearings, and presence of a small straw spreader. Compared to new parts sold at dealerships, the difference is significant. The "Request a Quote" button on each product sheet provides an accurate price, including shipping upon request.
The price of a used combine harvester varies depending on brand, age, hours of operation, and cutting width. TMC Bejenne also offers used combine harvesters: each listing specifies the machine’s condition, and our advisors are available at 05 86 24 00 26.
Using the combine harvester by engaging the grinder at the rear of the machine: the rotor chops the straw against counter knives and deflectors spread it over the field. For fine and consistent chopping, sharp blades, play-free bearings, and a well-tightened belt are essential. A worn rotor leaves long straw fibers.
TMC Bejenne sells used combine harvesters and parts recovered from dismantled end-of-life machines, including complete grinders. To sell a machine for dismantling or find a specific agricultural equipment model, contact our advisors at 05 86 24 00 26.
Seldom without adaptation. Mountings, casing width, pulley, and rotor speed differ between models, sometimes even between versions of the same New Holland or Claas series. TMC Bejenne’s technicians compare references before confirming compatibility.
From a specialist who dismantles the machines themselves, like TMC Bejenne in Naintré, who ships pallet deliveries throughout France. Each grinder is matched to its original combine, making verification straightforward. Also check our range of used combine grinders.
