Does a tractor subframe also serve as an engine mount?

On some tractors, yes: the subframe is bolted under the engine block and supports both the front of the machine and the articulation of the front axle. On others, it is mounted on an independent chassis. The manufacturer's reference and some photos enable our technicians to identify the correct part.

What are the accessories and parts of an agricultural tractor?

An agricultural tractor includes numerous pieces of equipment: front loader, front weights, front hitch, rear hitch, PTO shaft, or hydraulic distributors. At the front, several of these rest on the subframe, which is why it's important to check its fixtures when the machine is equipped. For each spare part of these equipments, our technicians look for the suitable reference in our stock.

Should the bushings be replaced at the same time as the subframe?

It is recommended. The oscillation bushings and axis wear with the subframe, and their replacement is easier during removal. A healthy subframe mounted with worn bushings would quickly develop play at the front axle.
