• dividers: these are spreaders which make it possible to delimit the width of the cut;
• reel: horizontal cylinder made up of several rows of vertical tines. The reel role is to accompany the stalks and ears to the cutter bar thanks to a regular supply via an auger screw;
• cutter bar: it is made up of sections riveted to a bar moving alternately between the fixed linkages to ensure the cutting of the stalks;
• auger screw: it brings the crop back to the centre of the cut
• conveyor: it is made up of transverse bars fixed on two or three chains that turn to move the crop towards the threshing drum
